We’re seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist to join a community-embedded practice serving the Eugene/River Bend region in Western Oregon. What will you do in this position?

Children’s Nebraska, in partnership with the University of Nebraska College of Medicine (UNMC), is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Cardiologist to join our Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Team at the assistant or associate professor level. Our team provides comprehensive care to children with varying types and severities of heart failure throughout Nebraska and the Midwest. The transplant program, established in 2013, averages approximately 5-10 transplants annually and is accredited by the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The Pediatric VAD program offers both durable and temporary support devices, with an average of 3-5 VAD implants annually. Candidates will be expected to contribute to the clinical base while expanding innovation and academic components within the division. Additionally, research opportunities and collaboration with the Child Health Research Institute (CHRI) are available, which offers start-up funding and infrastructure for clinical, basic science, and translational research.

Pediatric Electrophysiologist
The Heart Center at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in conjunction with The Ohio State University Department of Pediatrics in Columbus, Ohio seeks a board-certified/eligible, academic physician at any professorial level with advanced training in electrophysiology to join our team of two full-time electrophysiologists, two advance practice providers and one EP/Pacemaker nurse. Additionally, the successful candidate will participate in a limited amount of general pediatric cardiology that includes night call and in-patient consult service.
The Heart Center is a dedicated hospital service-line that carries the mission of providing state-ofthe-art, cost-effective care to our patients with congenital and acquired heart disease regardless of age. The Heart Center has >18,000 out-patient encounters per year including multiple specialty clinics (e.g. Fontan, muscular dystrophy, preventive care, cardiogenetic). The in-patient medical discharges average 1300/yr including ~400 annual surgeries. The Heart Center has 37 cardiologists and four cardiothoracic surgeons, a dedicated 20-bed CTICU and 24-bed cardiac stepdown unit, and a dedicated administration team. Excellent services in cardiac intensive and stepdown care, catheterization and intervention, non-invasive imaging, electrophysiology, heart failure and heart/heart-lung/lung transplantation are on-site. The Heart Center has a robust adult congenital heart service. The population served includes the regional population, a large number of referred cases for advanced intervention and surgery, an extensive state-wide outpatient network (pediatric and adult congenital) and patients managed with regional partners including the newly formed Congenital Heart Collaborative.
Our program is integrated with the Center for Cardiovascular Research as well as the Center for Genomic Research. Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist
The Department of Pediatric Cardiology within the Pediatric Institute at Cleveland Clinic Children’s is seeking Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care physicians to join our existing group of 8 Cardiac Critical Care Physicians (6 with advanced training in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care) and 13 Advanced Practice Providers caring for patients within our Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. The position will have a primary appointment in the Department of Pediatric Cardiology and a secondary appointment in the Department of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. The successful candidate will be either dual boarded in pediatric cardiology and critical care medicine, or will have completed a 4th year Advanced Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care fellowship. Clinical activities of the department include direct patient care responsibilities and supervision of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers. The 26 bed Cardiac Care Unit, which includes 15 Pediatric Cardiac ICU beds and 11 Cardiac Intermediate Care beds, cares for 750 admissions annually. The Pediatric Cardiac ICU provides high quality, equitable, culturally responsive, and family-centered care to critically ill infants, children, and adults with congenital and acquired heart disease across the full spectrum of disease complexity. In addition to pre-and post-operative care, the PCICU provides comprehensive heart failure/transplant services, including mechanical support (ECMO and VAD), leveraging comprehensive ICU technologies (inhaled nitric oxide, renal replacement therapy, advanced physiologic displays/ predictive analytics). Non-Invasive Imaging
The Division of Cardiology & Cardiovascular Medicine within the Pediatric and Adult Congenital Heart Center at Cleveland Clinic Children’s is seeking a pediatric cardiologist specializing in Imaging to join our existing team of 11 Imagers. The successful candidate will have formal fourth year advanced imaging training in advanced cardiac imaging techniques or commensurate clinical experience in fetal echocardiography and/or cross-sectional imaging, as well as general echocardiography and transthoracic imaging; with a focus and desire to lead imaging operations, education, and research.
The successful candidate will join our staff of 30 Pediatric Cardiologists, 20 Nurse Practitioners, and 21 sonographers in a busy clinical and academic practice. Clinical time will be focused on fetal echocardiography and fetal cardiology clinics, transthoracic and transesophageal and 3D echocardiography, cross-sectional imaging (MRI/CT), as well as general pediatric cardiology inpatient and outpatient care. The successful candidate will be board certified/ board eligible in pediatric cardiology and have a strong background in the care of medically complex patients in the acute care setting. Clinical activities of the position include direct patient care responsibilities and supervision of fellows and advanced practice providers. The 33-bed Cardiac Care Unit, which includes 15 Pediatric Cardiac ICU beds and 18 Cardiac Intermediate Care and Step-down beds, cares for 750 admissions annually. The Cardiac Step-down Service provides high quality, equitable, culturally responsive, family-centered care to infants, children, adolescents, and adults with congenital and acquired heart disease across the full spectrum of disease complexity. The Cardiac Step-down service cares for both cardiac medical and surgical patients, the latter in collaboration with the pediatric cardiac surgery service.
